I want to share something tender, timely, and important with you.

I just released a new video called “Unlearning Survival”, and it comes from a season where God has been doing deep, quiet work—work that doesn’t look impressive on the outside, but is life-giving at the root.

Many of us have been taught how to push through, pray harder, and keep going—even when our bodies, minds, and spirits are exhausted.

But what happens when striving stops working?

What happens when the doctor reports are “fine,” yet something inside of you knows you’re still healing?

In this teaching, I talk about how God often heals us not by more effort, but by unlearning survival patterns—patterns that were formed in pressure, trauma, responsibility, and seasons where rest didn’t feel safe.

We are currently in the Hebrew month of Shevat, a season that is not about harvest, but about:

• root strengthening
• soil preparation
• trust building
• hidden work

Scripture tells us that a tree bears fruit in its season—not on demand.

Psalm 1 describes the righteous as a tree planted by streams of water, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in season. That means there are times God is establishing you beneath the surface before anything changes outwardly.

In the video, I also share how God has been exposing old roots—like rejection—and inviting me to come out of agreement with them. Not through striving. Not through self-fixing. But through surrender, truth, and rest in Him.

This is not New Age language.
This is biblical root work—repentance, renewal of the mind, and being rooted in Christ.

If you’ve been feeling:

• tired without explanation
• anxious in your body, not just your thoughts
• frustrated because healing feels slower than expected
• confused because God feels quieter than usual

This may not be punishment.
It may be preparation.

I pray this message gives you permission to be still, to stop uprooting what God is establishing, and to trust that He is at work—even when it feels hidden.
